Hi everybody

I just thought I'll introduce myself.
I'm SIQ from Australia. I'm studying Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence at the moment and I work for an Internet Company(Informed Technology). A friend recommended me to come to this site to share or learn from the professionals in game-design or search-design.

Hey,

Wow, well at first i thought you're a 'prof' yourself. You will find varying people here. Like myself , i code for fun and i am no expert, though i can hint here and there n specific sollutions. While on the other hand there are some members who have technical knowledge that is beyond my understanding ;) And so on.

as pmb said, you won't find professionals here, but a handful of ppl having worked on a bot and/or related projects for >2 or 3 years. and there's some sort of variety in the ppl around here, their knowledges and approaches. e.g. /me likes to give mathematical prove for certain things like aiming algorithms, while pierre rather assembles a little application which just simulates it, so he can adjust variables :D

i got asked for a job, but i did not take it. So if you mean that.. yes.

I never coded a single line for far cry though.

Well, there are also the members that know sh17 about coding and depend on these great minds to play some multiplayer games offline...9_9 :P

You got it, thank god for Maleficus for taking up an RTCW bot, and getting a forum with other bot coders, that way we can say things like "RTCW 0wnz j00 f00!!!" and so on. :P :D

Feeding "the PMB", as you say, with an excessive amount of beer, however, can lead to self-mutilation - this has been proven by photographic means lately. :D Don't drink and walk!
