HL2 Release!!!
I will be taking a long nap in the day today and will most likely be playing HL2 all night tonite and all day tomorrow!!!

i am gonna play HL2 with a friend tomorrow. He bought the standard retail version. I bought the collectors item, but it will be mine around the 10th of december ! *faints*
ow, that friend of mine can run HL2 with all highest settings, so i will be drooling like hell and then get dissapointed by own own uber leet laptop.. see "will it run".... :S |

I'll probably pick up std. retail HL2 today. I would have gotten the Steam version, as I could be playing it right now, but I'd rather physically have the game and the box and whatnot.

Oh no doupt HangFire, this's even more massive than when Steam was first released, it's like the next major milestone of Steam. I have to wait a while before staples finally gets HL2.... :( |

if you bought it off steam then it could cost up to 80 buts thats only cause it comes with everygaem they make plus a bunch of merchendise

Started playing.. 8:15am GMT yesterday (Restarted @ 8am, 15mins to sort files).. Finished 15 hours later.. MY GOD MAN, the time went past so fast, i was hooked, and going nowhere :D

Bought it, installed it, played it.
First of all, yeah this game is awesome. Best of 2004. Second, Steam didn't give me too much grief. It couldn't verify my CD key, but it let me play anyway. Damn... This game is spectacular. Now to go blast some more combine. |

I've been building things in this game every chance I get. Its awesome building a little fort to protect yourself from zombies, or barricading the combine out of a room.
Also, anyone get up the part where you first get friendly turrets? I kept all the turrets, and painstakingly dragged them along untill I amassed seven turrets. Its like a firing squad of miniguns when you aim them all at a single door. Its 7:30 am, and I still plan on playing till about noon (sleep is for the weak willed, and the healthy). As soon as the SP is beat HL2 is going to collect dust until some multiplayer mods come out. Anything but more Counter-Strike I'd play. Even if it was vanilla deathmatch I'd jump at the chance to play it. With the right group of people, you could organize special game modes, like grav gun wars.
