Some RTS i made: Download DEMO here!
 

This is a DEMO version. Its a version i have on my harddisk for quite some time. But i'd thought of sharing this with you.

Features:
- 9 missions each house
- single player -> single mission -> select mission!!! (skirmish does not work, although you can look at the 'set up houses' thingy)
- bug fixes, and probably new bugs :D
- smarter AI (unbeatable on Hard or Tough)
- reinforcements
- the missions you play are from the original DUNE
- INI file to balance units, pricing, etc.

Well, it has a lot of new stuff , and its still not complete. But i'd like to know what ya think of it :)

played it.. ive heard pathfinding is the most hardest thing to do.. and as we all know you dont have any problem with that.. the old dune gfx needs a little face lift.. i set my resultion pretty high and it made everthing very small..

i dont get what to do in the first mission.. i checked the whole map.. killed or enamys.. gathered to 10000 something.. and still.. what was left.. i build every builindg possible atleast twice.. im gonne have nightmares after this

- skill 'tough' (or hardest, dunno how its called)

played your game some more.. and i kinda thought about where you got things from.. did you make the gfx yourself.. or did you use old one..

what is next step.. update ai? actuall real goals? update gfx to something bigger ease viewable?.. everthing is like small dots for me.. and sometimes i dont know wich units are mine or not..

well i want to make this game actually playable. Btw, its based off DUne 2... i did not do any gfx... well i did adjust some.

do you mind sending my the gfx library.. atleast some of it.. just wanne give it a look.. or maybe its in the files.. ill check..

what do you mean? do you want the gfx files themselves? or just the program to unpack them from the DAT files? :)

you can download the dat file unpacker. You can simply copy this program into the same directory as where the demo is installed, then run it , open up a dat file and you can extract the information as BMP files. Nothing to it ;)

keep in mind, the Grabber data file manager creates Header files (for source) if you save the DAT file again. If you want to use your own graphics, REPLACE them only. Do NOT add new gfx, if you do, the game will not work properly.
