Re: can anyone help me?
lol, what game are you playing?
I have the same board, and I have the exact same problem as yours when I play a small online game. :D that is really weired. I think it's the problem of the board cuz this doesn't happen to my other two computers. ok, you can try this, it works for me. Run Winamp first and play a song, make sure you've enabled looping so it always plays. Minimize the volume (dont mute) so you cant hear anything from winamp. Now run the game your playing. |
Re: can anyone help me?
Are your drivers that beta versions or regular
Make sure you have updated them off asus.com It could be the game, check the game setting and if an option lower the amount of channels. Goto the volume setting on your computer and adjust the performance and accelerator adjustments, try changing them see if that helps, or look up on google or look on asus.com to see if other people are having this problem and if happens when doing anything like playing music then it could be a diffective motherboard, although a hassel you should maybe send it back and get another or get it repaired |

Re: can anyone help me?
mostly a driver problem tho...
if it's winXP make sure you install the drivers that correspond EXACTLY to your hardware... else let the default XP drivers if they work and don't bother changing them. You should go to your mobo manufacturer's webby, they must have a page presenting your motherboard and there must be some "drivers" link there. |
Re: can anyone help me?
i have installed the drivers from my mobo cd but i will go to asus and look for them
