anyway, maybe it was the restart, cause afaik it was up again instantly after we were disconnected, except if you have someting running that checks if the server is running and auto restarts it after a crash..

No it was a full server restart, so the rc scripts would have restartet the ircd / services automaticaly. cold reboot takes about 15 seconds on the server.

err, a server reboot in 15 secs? what kind of server with what os is that? my linux machine needs alot more i guess, maybe 30-60 secs, ill check that tomorrow..

dont wanna tell me when you restarted the server?
