I have no more comments about this issue, as some of those online games are too addictive and really have many disadvantages; however banning is definately not the best solution. (they are also proprietary software)

I'm not sure if Quake or CS counts here, however Quake3 is banned at all and we all have to use illegal copy from the Internet.

Yeah, true whistler. Illegal downloading these days is usually more popular than buying games. No age restrictions as well..

I remember Far Cry was actually banned from Germany, the same country it was created in until they released it without blood I believe.. rediculous stuff eh?

its good thought behind it.. no one really knows what happens during a game.. or a longer peroiod of gaming..

I disagree with the proclamation, it is so silly in the light of all the "killing games" little children play on their own anyway.

That being said, somebody did come up to one of my characters today in Guild wars. Flemish.

I saw 2 warriors dancing between a chick standing still, it looked like.. well, guess. Anywho, lol, she reported their accounts for improper use or something like that, and not long later they were banned. Ahh, the mmo's how fun. :P

speaking of lesbian things.. ain't Hillary Clinton bi? I hear that the book she wrote said so, and if so, does she really think that making them change the ratings on GTASA will get her the conservative vote? (<< I know, a bit OT, but inna sense this thread is about governments trying to censor gaming)

Eh, she probably is targeting the republicans with this. Just like every other politician, shes not out there to support a political ideal, shes just out there for personal power and wealth.
