OK, now it's the time when I leave this thread... To much maths for my brain... I HATE maths...

It doesn't seem too complicated at first glance, if you've even taken high school level physics then you should at least have a gist of whats going on there.

What has maths got to do with breast implants?

I am at High School, but I haven't studied that part of physics... Just the dynamics and heat parts... :P

actually the matrix is confusing me too, to some degree that is. I have no clue what everything does, except that it has to do with some power circuits or something. But then again, i don't care about hardware , i am all software :)

Ahhhh... those schematics reminds me of the good times :D
Personally I'd have used the RS232 UART with a MAX232 chip to convert back and forth to TTL levels, because with that setup you'll monopolize your printer port :) *edit* while you're at it why not put a cheap microcontroller for the serial, LED and LCD logic such as a 80C552 ? You can reprogram it countless times, it's an EEPROM. And it can be programmed in C, even :)

@Leagle: :D you silly

Well you can't fail to call it hardware, but I'd hate to be the one doing the installation.;)

Still learning all that stuff, but that schematic makes sense! Even the reason for pull-down (or was it pull-up? it's a little blurry on my screen) resistors! (debouncing). Makes me want to look at ADC internals again (never fully understood how they work).
