It doesn't matter if the group will be witnessing what they're complaining about, they'll raise a fuss and say that what they're doing is "for the children" or for the "greater good of society".

Quote:

Thierry Massis, the bishops’ lawyer, said: “When you attack sacred things, you create a moral violence that is dangerous for our children.-"
If you replaced "moral violence" with "sense of humour" then her statement would actually make sense.

Well, I doubt sense of humour is dangerous for our children, but I see the point.

Those bishops continuously ramble to their sheep that faith goes in pair with doubt, and now they defend things so sacred they are untouchable, unquestionable, undoubtable and even unjokable if the term needs to be coined !!

If they expect to gather more adepts I'm afraid they aren't taking the right way. Bah. Their problem.

The problem is both capitalism and democracy. We are indoctrinated to believe they are the same, only lashing out at one or the other when we want something done our way.

The real problem is more fundamental than that, while both systems cause immense trouble, the alternatives are hardly better. The problem is the public, those who disagree and foreigners. Always has been, always will be. Oh, and anyone who agrees with your point of view, but needs to beat you for one reason or another.

There really is no proper solution.
