Re: Music colours life, what are you listening to now?
English is an extremely lyrical language.
I'm not listening to much atm. I would liek to, but my diskman is shite - american junk won't play most cds. I need to get a proper sterio, but I just don't feel like forking out for so much. |

Re: Music colours life, what are you listening to now?
that laptop? you're kidding me. It takes 15mins to load, and crashes often. The sound is so tinny too, and the headphones glue me to the desk (which is sticky).
For the net I use a Uni comp. |

Re: Music colours life, what are you listening to now?
Right now I'm (re)discovering Iron Maiden.
And these days I often listen to that french punk band, Parabellum. They're all as old as 50 (they were already touring in the 80s) but their music still beats the crap outta all these shitty neo-punky crap the radio spouts all day. I believe there's another spanish band that wears the same name, so beware if you want to look them up. 5Gb in MP3s ? I own you with my 6 gigas of Ogg Vorbis :p |

Re: Music colours life, what are you listening to now?
Noone defeats my 38 gig trance, hah :)
As for the legal stuff: 1. Atleast 80-90% are (parts of) radio shows. 2. Downloading music is legal in Holland, sharing/uploading/selling music which is not your own - isn't. OK, maybe radio shows are not entirely legal(its a bit vague)...hmm. Also some artists don't mind so(Armin). Well atleast you won't really damage artists with it IMO. |
Re: Music colours life, what are you listening to now?
Actually most music i have is music i own! I just rip it off CD's so i can listen all my music at once, and randomize it. I would say 80% i have is legal. 20% is not legal but not listened too at all. Just stuff you download or get, and you find it funny for one time. Then you never listen to it.
I have to admit, i never downloaded more then 10mb of mp3's myself though.... :) |
Re: Music colours life, what are you listening to now?
Similar to Stefan. Now have a stresadb is, crap. Lots of buzz ing noise like a large fan/overhead power cab;le s
|
Re: Music colours life, what are you listening to now?
well i can't say I'm that legal... I don't have the money. A quick calculation shows that if 80% of my music were legal, i would have spend about 1600€ on cd's...
I've calculated it with the cost of 10€ pr album, which is about the cheapest you can get i for in Denmark. I've probably spend about 600€ on cd's in my lifetime, so it's not like I'm just downloading and laughing maliciusly... I tend to buy stuff i like too... but it's not like i have around 1000€ to spend, to even the numbers. |
