maybe that was just based on the cell he was in. the cell density is quite high in bigger towns, but really low on the countryside.

Its gonna be like the what the Russian Mafia was doing here in Canada a few years ago with atm cards. Someone is gonna find a way to duplicate the scanners and then all thay have to do is just give ya a quick scan when they walk by ya. Kiss yer identity good by. The site has some problems handling all the requests.
So i got a "Sorry we are to bussy right now, try again later today" because of there enormous success.
It went "on Air" today so there is much traffic from curious ppl at there first day. It'll probably stay slow for a few cos this locator is quite popular so to seem.

*note 2
The site is in dutch but you only have to fillout the number you want to locate and your own email address to where te result is sent.

Heh yep.
They have changed the page a bit. There is now a possibity to opt-out your number.
Which is a nasty thing also.

I don;t like it anymore than you do. But it seems to be legal.
But now that it is comming in the media spotlights politics might do something about it.

Hehe.
Reminds me of the day when I had a Sagem. The only mobile I ever had. One old one. Only able to link at 900MHz. Unable to do SMS. But what was good with it is that with a MAX232 circuit to transform the +12/-12 from the COM port to TTL +5V you could reprogram it from your computer... :)
I could tell what I did with that phone but that's not very legal hehe :)
