I tried adding that -ip lan 1 but it still adds the auth servers. If it's an offline server, why does it need the auth servers????

Can somebody do a gameserver search for my server using something other than steam?

i dont know where you got the "1" (-ip lan <1>) from, but this works for me. this target line does not list my server on the master list (internet tab)

in console i get:
exe version bla bla bla
exe build bla bla bla
STEAM Auth Server <blank>
loading cfg files...
Server IP address 192.168........ (local ip)
loading continues normally...

ya I didn't see mine either this time around but I need to be sure it can't be seen atall from the net.

I saw u trying to get in so I shut it down. It's still being seen by the net obviously.

I got my firewall blocking it but it's still being shown as active by steam favs. That shouldn't happen.

Now try it dead. In my console it says no auth servers parsed, disabling valve authentication & master server comm is disabled as well.
