When I was implementing bots in ETF I got alot of the same type of comments from alot of the ETF/Q3F community, that somehow bots would destroy the game entirely. There was even a little of that when I approached Fortress Forever from the stronger bot haters. I'll never understand what makes people think these things other than just spouting pure bullshit because they happen to hate them.

It really doesn't matter if there is a very vocal minority opposing AI in games, bots will always be made as long as there are talented programmers with free time available.
