Cheese is only good if its on something that requires it, such as pizza. On its own, not good. Doubleplus ungood.

I was not bullshitting there, people really do say "shit" to each other to wish good luck, actually they do not just say "shit" but something like "shit to you", it's very confusing for foreigners :)

No wonder the shipping costs of salami to Leagle are high, rare are the drivers who'd want to mess with the devil.

Lol, my parents do live near there. But England in general, good sandwich filling is hard to find -I dislike those paste things, am fed up with cheese and I found out last night that clotted-cream-and-marmalade is not a good combination.

The cured meat is bloody expensive and usually from France/Spain (it smells, even if it does taste good) or Denmark/Germany (garlic!). The British stuff is nice enough, (roast ham, turkey, etc.) but still too expensive.

In Holland the stuff is cheap, readily available and comes with much more variety in larger packets. You could get very nice sliced ham too. Albert Heinz stocks a very nice "Ardennes" variety packet iirc. :( Compared to England it is so cheap.

And there are some drunking louts outside singing very loudly. (I'm on the 5th floor for godssake!) Bloody football team probably. If I was in the kitchen I would throw water on them.

rofl. I bet almost every country is 'cheap' compared to England Leagle ;)

At holland we complain how expensive everything got since the euro (no kidding, some stuff just doubled or trippled!)... like PMB's beloved Liquid.... it was first 1,5 'gulden' (former money, that is roughly 0.5 euro for 1 gulden. So, thats 0.75 euro). Now you pay 1.5 EURO.. that is 3 gulden....

People still 'calculate back' in order to 'feel' the worth of a product and sometimes it scares the hell out of you...

YeS I know, I was there.:)

The change wasn't that drastic at first though.

In England you pay around £1:10/20 for a half-pint.

Well - seems I've not been presisly in the description and maybe the people got confused or got wrong what I wrote. I would like to say - if someone wants to wish luck to the other - in this case he says him "break a pen" instead "good luck"... :)
And I wanted to say the same to our Brasilian colleague.

So, PMB, what do you actually say? "Merde pour toi"?

Soo, I received just biology today... 79%!!! Hell I'm good!

Tomorrow, I should receive spanish, physics, maths and history! Wish me luck, it's working so far :D

good luck man ;) looks like its going pretty well.

Basicly this is how i do my tests:
- 1st time, dont learn, you waste ur time
- 2nd time learn.

why

1st time you will pass 70% of all tests.
2nd time you learn a bit to pass the other 30%
3rd time you really learn to get the rest of that % you missed from the 2nd time ;)

and else, there is always a 4th time ;)
