I often keep my mouth shut in multiplayer now :P If there is anything brewing that I don't like I leave the server immediately. Although I usually stay in servers with my bots running, I can talk to the bots making them learn some more dialogue hoping they would say something smart to any agitator!

Lol, yeah I love how you implemented megaHAL in your bot, it brought me n' me buds much joy at our little natural selection lan party we had a few weeks ago. one guy loved his mamma jokes, so after a while the bot would just spit out garble like "your mom got clanned owned" and other hallarious oddities, I loved it! :D

Someone should release a megaHAL brain file with a heck-of-a-lot of stuff for the bots to say... anyone? ;)

Personally, I'd rather hear the bot make fun of my mom than my friend with his constant momma jokes, cause the bot says it funnie. :P

My POD-variant chat file had grown to be utterly massive, every time I'd play I would add about 20-30 lines of new speach. Unfortunately, when I erased Half-Life I never backed it up.

@hangfire: cool, but I was talking aboot the megaHAL brain file.. Have you heard of megaHAL? it's an awesome botchat AI that learns words n' tries to implement them in their own sentences... lol, it's hallarious, check out sPlOrYgOn's sig, it's a small sample of how funny this chat system is. I believe the author of it wanted to make megaHAL annoying and hallarious. :P
