Re: Movie: The Day After Tomorrow
hehe, well thats funny thats what they say now, and will probably say in 100 years from now ... until it does happen. You know why? Because we cannot predict nature, and we cannot escape our destiny when we are destroying our own planet like this, consuming every natural resource. But don't worry, nature will get in balance and survive, although it can cost the survival of mankind.

America doesn't save the day ? w00t that means I might finally go and see this one... :P
no honestly we're fed up with America-will-save-the-world movies over here... but isn't the maker of the movie Roland Emmerich, the same guy who made Independence Day ? :| anyway I'm more impatient to see Troy... |
Re: Movie: The Day After Tomorrow

Re: Movie: The Day After Tomorrow
Heyyo,
Lol, reminds me of that fake preview for Exploder 2 on the Game GTA: Vice City... lmao "warning: this movie may contain patriotic garbage." Yeah PM, Troy's defniately a good movie. But some love scenes just make ya wanna say, "Only in a Brad Pitt movie..." lol. |

What's really interesting is that this movie is said to have a strong influence on the US elections, because apparently it causes more sensitivity to environmental problems in the US people than scientific facts... thus, it makes people more conscious about the protection of the environment, and this is a weak spot of the Republican party. Their official strategy during the electoral campaign still consists of simply denying global warming and keeping NASA or other scientiss from speaking to the public... or at least that's what the article said. Maybe one of our US guys can confirm this? Oh, and btw: Emmerich is anti-Bush, too. Nowadays, at least. He recently said in an interview that he finds the current US govt. "horrible". ;) |
