Re: Physics Library..

Nice parabolic bullet drop would be nice, as would having to actually 'lead' targets, rather than HL's current 'Point and Shoot' predictive techniques.

Agreed, gravity effects bullets like it effects people, the further away someone is, the harder it is to hit them, If you fire straight up, you better move, else the bullets gonna come straight back down and cap you >:P

wind?

Re: Physics Library..

i _think_ wind is possibly going a bit over the top.. not sure, i'll let others comment on it :p

Re: Physics Library..

well, wind is normally recreated by enlarging the firecone, as it rarely blows in a constant direction with constant speed. Add that to parabolic bullet drop & a high enough skybox... Indirect fire with rifles. Interesting. Just need HE bullets, and you'd have minature artilliary.

well.. if there is not wind.. you dont shoot straight anyways.. if its not an sniper.. i dontthink the chanse of getting hit if you shoot one shoot up is small as a million to one.. if not more..

darn it, i had seen a link with physics and 'softbody' reaction. Its more smooth then ragg-droll.. (did i spell this right?) :D
