With this new year 2004 arising, it's also THE big guy of the scene who bows to the public and retires...

I would like to take this very moment to rally everyone wishing to offer a big
THANK YOU
to the godfather of the Half-Life bot scene:
Jeffrey 'botman' Broome.
Without him, no bots in TFC, no bots in Counter-Strike.
Without him, no HPB_bot. No POD-bot. No RealBot.
Without him no such a community of developers always willing to help each other out, hacking the HL SDK all around the place.
botman, we all owe you a big thanks for keeping alive your forums so long, for your friendliness, your constant advices to newcomers, for being what you were: always the guy to ask to, who has always a kind answer for you. I just hope the story isn't completely over, and that we'll see you often here at Bots United... anyway...
We all unite to wish you a wonderful life full of beer and Barneys, lots of Barneys (and lots of beer too), the best luck in your carreer as a game developer, lots of lines of code, to get married with a gorgeous botwoman if you aren't already and have a lot of little botmans. Don't work too much, also: remember that all work and no play makes botman a dull bot !
God I hope the story isn't completely over: please come here as often as you can !
botman, man, man, we will m*thaf*ck*n miss ya !!!
