Default anyone here use amx? - 25-02-2004

I have a problem trying to compile the sound_download_management plugin. Has anyone tried using it or actually does use it?

It's supposed to make it easier for players to download all the server sound files somehow.

It's supposed to be a faster way for players to download your sounds from the server.
Here's part of the readme...
"Name says it all. This elimiates the need for res files to download your
special server sounds to clients and makes them easy to manage in one file.
Sounds can be set to download on specific maps or on all maps. See the .sma
file for this plugin for setup info. Thanks to Spacedude for the original
idea. Note: This plugin assumes you have a separate plugin for playing the
sounds. New: Can be used to download sprites, models, and wads to clients too."

0.9.8 is AFAIK just a recompiled 0.9.6j/7 which makes amx work again at CS1.6 after one oft the last steam updates. It has no new features/functions therefore there shouldn't be any difference regarding the plugins.
