It's a really nice feature that bots now switch to knife before a longer jump. However, they really should switch to their primary weapon when approaching a camp WP - I've seen quite many bots jump somewhere, run to a camp WP, start to camp and still hold their knife... if it was possible to make them switch to knife before jumping, it should be possible to make them switch to their primary weapon before camping, right?

Right. A call to BotSelectBestWeapon() and a check immediately after to know whether the bot thinks that the knife is its best weapon, and cancel camping if so... Not a very "cognitive" approach, but that'd work.

Mine run around alot with knife out but thay run backwards to

I experienced many times bots are not looking in correct direction (for example they look at the wall) because they remember last enemy direction and they still try to look there. But this is some bigger navigation problem.

i played the bot again recently and notivced what has happened to it.

i played a few rounds on cs_expo with t-wrecks waypoints and killed 24 bot without dying using my knife only....simply because the bots arent shooting(yeah they do sometimes) but mostly just run past each other staring into strange directions that have nothing to do with where they are going or whats going on around them at present.

maybe it's the bot aim code...
and maybe I should give you guys a new beta..

my test was a 2 round battle in my cs_brainwash_f.
first round...was killed right off with a heady

second round i killed 3(being more careful now) then died on a heady.

this dll is fine about shooting each other....and me

I also have a bug to report. If you set the bots to knife mode (jason mode), and then the bots go to camp, if they see a badguy, they'll try to knife him, even though he's like, 25 feet away.

Also, sometimes in jason mode, the bots have sometimes pulled out their pistols, mainly the CT's (just feels like it at least

) and shoot off a few rounds, n' then go back to their knives... lol, they're cheatin' little buggers aren't they? 9_9
