Default some questions - 24-03-2008

i would like to know how to change the bots name so that instead of looking like e[Pod]rick (96). the bots name could look something like [DMBS] Jack, so basicly no e[pod] tag and no (96) or (65) or (45). also i would like to know how to set up the bot so that when human players begin to play the bots dont exit out

so far i can 1v1 a bot but when my friend and i try and 2v1 or 2v2, me and him vs 2 bots, the bots exit.

also i would like to know how to change the latency from saying "bot" to actually having a number.

thank you guys very much.

Read a bit EPB.cfg file and you will understand how to remove the bot tags and skill number, after that look at EPBnames.txt to put custom names for the bots.

What actually is not clear ?
Code:
#
# Set the below option to on to turn on
# the clantags before the name.
clantags on
So doing clantags off will remove the tags before the name and now for the skill just below the clantags

Code:
#
# Set the below option to on to turn on
# the skilldisplay behind the name.
skilltags on
doing it skilltags off will remove the numbers after the bot name.

thank you very much the storm, i thank your time, one other question would be how can i get my own clan tag so it can look like this

[DMBS] | Running strong.

and i noticed under latincy or whatever it says the word bot, but on some other server i saw that the name wasnt there..

<img src="http://www.youshare.com/view.php?file=LOLOL.bmp" /img>

There is no config to put your own clan prefix, but you can always put it directly in to the bot names config. The BOT word that appears to the ping is sinse version 5.2, if that server use older this is not there.

Anyway I suggest to stick with the latest one because the older have nasty bugs, if you really don't want the "BOT" tag on the ping score tell me, I may make new build that is without this.
