its a topic where i ponder about the meaning of life on BU Anyway. It also wonders what do you play now:

CS Source
CS 1.6?

I play CS: Source, i play it in DX7 mode, and it runs super smooth. Though it does not have any nice bells and whistles with gfx.. i don't care. It plays, and i own the server

my computer can play CS:S with all graphics options on the highest at 50fps but CS:S looks too cartoony..

I don't even play computer games anymore... dunno why, they just bore me... mostly because i can't play online because of a firewall, but also because most of them really aren't that interesting... Which is too bad of course, but then i just play some more guitar, and other stuff... actually I'm learning to drive in a one-wheeled bike

I think the last time I played counter strike was when it just turned to version 1.0. I stopped for several reasons: other games had my attention, the "new crop" of players on my local servers were all annoying little kids, people were taking it too seriously (it is just a game after all) and it gets kind of boring at lans when people play just one game for eight hours straight.
These days I can't play anything online anyway due to uni network restrictios, though I do have more time for my girlfriend, coding, juggling, studying, etc.

I stopped playing CS regularily probably about when 1.6 came out.

I still once every couple of months play Condition Zero (easy install) with my friends over LANs, but aside from that never. I backed it up right in a .rar file out of my directory, so decomressing one file sure as hell beats hours of Steam updates.

We tried CS:S once, I copied over my data files for it into their Steam directory, but Steam wanted to be a whiny bastard and re-download everything anyway. All we had was dial-up, so waiting for 2 days wasn't an option.

Well, I kinda stopped playing cs... I would play some cs:s, but my friends' computers are not so good... And LAN Houses don't usually have HLČ... So, whenever I feel like pwning, I just fire up good 'ole 1.6 and invite my friends to pwn some bots (and each other).

OFF-OFFTOPIC: Confederation's Cup, Brazil x Greece, Thursday (the 16th), 18:30 GMT @ Leipzig, Germany.
