KaCaT, the developer of this bot, has disappeared months ago and no one ever saw him since. He doesn't reply to our messages either, which led the Bots United head members to assume that he has switched to another email and that he's gone for good, at least from the bot scene. In consequence
IvPBot is now a fatherless bot. It has not been updated and chances are that it will never be.
If you wanted to report a bug or contribute anyhow to its development I'm afraid it won't be to any avail. Since the bot source code has never been disclosed, IvPBot is now a dead bot.
If you are looking for a good bot to play with that could resemble IvPBot, the two closest ones featured here at Bots United are
- POD-bot 2.6mm (for Counter-Strike 1.5 and 1.6, Windows and Linux), developed and maintained by sPlOrYgOn with the support from the Bots United community,
- YaPB (for Counter-Strike 1.5 and 1.6, Windows and Linux), a port of the original POD-bot code to C++ and CS 1.6 by Whistler.
Note that there are other very good Counter-Strike bots available on Bots United, such as
JoeBot or
RealBot, which are readily available, and
RACC which is still under development.
