Default Parabot help - 17-11-2006

Hi guys,

Im not having any luck getting parabot 091 to load and ive also tried just the parafix.dll and that doesnt load properly either. (badf load)

The parabot installer doesnt apply itself correctly, and I dont know how to manually install this because I see that it wants to change my liblist.gam file, but I cant let it do that because my liblist.gam file is already using Severians Mod as the game dll.

(Most of the bots on this forum do NOT work with HLDM, the few that do are buggy and do not repsond to cvars properly, like weapons priority and skill, etc etc............So, Im desperate to get a nicely working bot. HPB Bot does work, however it acts very stiff. Gravebot just ignores the weapons priroity and skill cvars and runs around like it's on cocaine non-stop.)

Can anyone help me understand what I need to do to get parabot running? (Side note: Im not a programmer, and have just enough wits to figure out compliling and adding amxx plugins)

Server info:
Windows XP Pro SP2
hlds.exe 4.1.1.1
metamod.dll 1.19.0.28
amxmodx_mm.dll 1.7.1.0
parabot.dll 091
parafix.dll (no version number "last modified" June 13, 2004)

p.s. I realize that at one time the HLDM bots worked better pre-Steam.
