Hey Mal, would it be possible to implement this into your mod as say another soldier weapon? Like what the Boog Weapon Mod did back in the days. Man that would be sweet, this gun rocks!

Off the top of my head, I don't know how easy or hard it would be, or how much code I'd have to add/change to get it to work properly. Then there would be GFX for the UI art that would be needed, etc, etc.

I can't promise anything (time spent working on something like this is time I can't spend working on AI issues, or the script/nav system), but I'll take a look around and see how feasible it would be.

Cool, i wouldn't spend to much time trying to get it down though. I more or less mentioned it just in case you ever get bored and your pretty close to finishing Fritzbot and wanna add something else, or you wanna add something new or whatever.

It's possible to do it (the Boogie Weapon Mod did it), all you'd really have to do is enable the weapon in MP, and just add a GUI pic and enable ammo packs to give out FG42 ammo. This of course is coming from an unexperienced coder, so i could be WAY off. But i mean the animations and everything are already in the SP mode, i just wondered how easy it would be to implement it in MP.

Maybe we could get another coder to attempt it and you can just port the source in your mod?

No big deal though, just a passing idea. Keep up the great work on the bot mal, it's coming along very well and pretty much bug free.

check out degeneration when they release their new version, they've implemented that gun as well as the snooper and tesla from single player

I'll happily accept any code/GFX any other mods/coders would like to contribute or any tutorials available. Anyone who contributes will get full credit for their work.

Just working on Fritz alone is a full time job for me: AI is really hard, and any help I can get or find with other features will always be accepted, because I've got my hands full ATM.

Awesome! Hey we should ask the mod creators of the Degenration mod if they'll share the code to enable the FG42 in Multiplayer. Want me to try and ask mal?
