With Craig's blessing, I've twiddled the waypoints for the two long ladders in Brescia to help the bots negotiate them without getting stuck. Thanks to Crapshoot for teaching me how when I had problems with mp_island!

The new waypoints can be found at

It's in the latest rtcw waypoint pack. You can find it here

Yeah, I just found it out myself Also, crapshoot, on mp_assault, is there any way for the bots to prefer going via the main warehouse way rather than the death march to the tower? Just wondering. I will probably try to waypoint an attempt at a mp_assault re-do for just that one part, but I was wondering if it is at all possible to actually modify the existing waypoints so I wouldn't have to start from scratch.

Engineers can be made to use the warehouse route with little difficulty because the plant action is route-able. The other classes don't have a route-able action though, so it would be tough.

If I were to re-do that map, I'd give the allies some actions on the tarmac so they wouldn't be so predictable / easy to kill as they head for the tower. Maybe have them setting up to spawn camp a bit...

You can edit the existing waypoints if you like. Any waypoints can be edited actually, the only thing we want to avoid is having several different versions of a map uploaded to the filebase.

and JIC it gets out into the wild, Remember your work's readme should say BRANCH and identify the filedate of the work it branched from. Rev numbering should be something like T.tt.B.bb (T is original filebase major rev (trunk), tt original file minor rev, B your branch major rev and bb minor branch rev) and include your name in the pk3 filename.

.one Ringstellung to rule them all.
