I wish I had known about this game a long time ago it is awesome. When was it developed anyways? Who ever did this game did a really really nice job and they really took there time!!! Just wanted to to see what ya think

AFAIK there are mainly 2 guys developing The Specialists, Morfeo and John_Matrix, both of them are italian and happen to live in the same town (which explains the outstanding quality of the mod due to their tight level of cooperation). Morfeo seems to have been hired by a game development company shortly after their mod started to be known. It's of outstanding quality, as much in the code than in the artwork. They've pushed the HL engine beyond the limits. They've got impressive mappers, too - just look at the maps and who made them (3DMike for example).

I feel completely puzzled to see that an INCREDIBLE number of FPS gamers only know CS and only it, and when I talk them about "The Specialists", they ask me "well, whats that ?" some of them believe it's a sort of ClanMod, some that it's a fun plugin or another crap. I definitely UUUUUURGE everybody who voted "I never played it" to try it out A.S.A.P ! They can't ever have tried anything better ! Word !!!

one of the best mod's i've played and it is true what PMB said, most CS-er's play only that and never see all the other great mods, though there a few which have interested me as much as TS
