what os and browser do you use?
I can't get this demo file (and a lots of other files from the filebase) under windows. I've tried ie, opera, firefox... none of them works. I got redirected to the filebase index page when I click "Download".
But it works under linux. Is it my problem?

k, the spinning one is really funny. actually I've seen them doing this once I installed a plugin(bot aim?) of PM.

Do you have anything running that removes / blocks / manipulates http referrers? It could be a setting in your browser or a firewall like ZoneAlarm...

I have also ZoneAlarm and I don't have this problem. All I had to do - it was - allow to access to Internet by Mozilla...

well there are options in ZoneAlarm that will Strip HTTP headers of "sensitive" information...
I don't really see why Referers are so sensitive except for session stealing...

oh yes, I searched google for this information and found that my Norton IS is preventing me from downloading these files. the option is called Privacy Control. If that is turned off, everything is fine.
