Default Epod Tuning Advice - 10-02-2006

A while back my EPODS stopped working due to a steam update. I was forced to go with podbot_mm for the duration. I like EPODS cuz they own! However, even though PODS where easier to kill, I found their tunable parameters useful.

The problem with EPODS is they tend to remain stationary when they shoot. I was able to tune PODS to evade. This made them much tougher to kill. I noticed that the PODS use MIN and MAX parameters that can be setup in the server.cfg to control some of the following paramters:

How long the bots will run
How long the bots will walk
How long they will engage in a fight before ducking for cover
The length of bursts
Also the min and max time of trigger pull
The min and max time of trigger release

I tried using the same config with EPODS but it made the BOTS go crazy! I think having parameters especially ones that control how much the bots will evade when under fire will make the bots more God-like

Sincerely
CMD

Heyyo,

Well, you can try using mEAnmod, with that you can set how long before they walk n' such. Check right below the botsunited logo on this webpage, you should find the link to the mEAnmod homepage.
