Default i guess lightening can strike twice ( dUH ! ) - 04-08-2004

about 2 nights ago i fried my AMD Duron chip ( 900mhz ) and thankfully didn't loose any data... im down to 3 pcs now only one of which is fast enough 2 do work on...

regarding the video... i was already pretty drunk and i was trying to mock the whole pop culture thing... ya tim ive heard of greatful dead but the song that was playing in the background that faithfull night was britney spears...

id say ive gotten 20 - 30 % more work done since my last post... hopefully i can get a chip in time and finish up these dam HL maps !!!

Why do I picture a bunch of open computer cases,
with wires, hard drives & other shit strewn across
your floor, 3rd ?

I came.
I sawed.
I conquered.

Hmm ... I don't sem to remember that ...
I do seem to remember saying once that,"I don't remember anything.", & meaning it though .. I think.
Hmm ... then again ... maybe that's what I was just gonna say.

My 2.5 GHz puter just had the (1 year old ASUS P4G8X) mobo die in it.
An extreme downer.
Hopefully I can get it replaced with the manufacturers warranty.
Right now, I have 160 Gb of storage happening on the 2.0 GHz box !!!
2 HD in the same box seems silly.
Lucky I still had the old girl !
I had stuff strewn all over for a couple of days, too.
I totally understand it now !
Cheers !

well lucky ive just recently got my "really old" hewlett-packard machine running... ( AMD atholon 800mhz ) so thats more active HDs on the network...

mapping is going really slow... HL 2 is getting closer and closer and... well lets just say we've all been holding our breaths long enough ???
