Default Possible Idea - 06-03-2005

See for naming the bots in the botnames.txt I was wondering if it was possible to make it so the length of the names arent restricted (or an option to turn this on/off like detailnames). What you think?

I don't think you can do this, as the length of name in Half-Life is restricted. And I don't think Valve will release their source code and let you modify the engine

Not what I meant Whistler, I meant so the bot names werent restricted to 26 characters (i think) instead it would be restricted to valves default name length.

Yes, when you turn detailnames off in ivpbot.cfg, you can have maximum characters of name supported by Half-Life engine in botnames.txt.
