Heh, it seemed like it took forever I know, but time passes really fast when you have so little of it to spare!

I'm going to write out some VERY basic documentation and then I'm going to send it your way, expect it tomorrow night at the latest.

ATM, these are the "official" waypointers:

Denny
The Ghost
CrapShoot

btw: welcome to the new forum sub-section for waypointers and waypoint info!

Cheers!

I just read the guide thusfar, it looks pretty similar to wolfbot so i shouldn't have too much troubles in that department. That Radius thing may be pretty tough to get the hang of at first (mainly because of the vast range of values), but it shouldn't be too difficult when i get in there and use it.

Just a question, the action system you have in place, does this include ladders?

No - ladders are going to be handled by the node system. There is a special ladder node, but its not used ATM. Its something I need to add later.

Yes - radius can be tricky at first. I have a cmd in the node drawing code tho that lets you see the node's radius for yourself, so you can see exactly how big/small you need it to be. A LOT of bot navigation problems can come from incorrect radius values, so its something to be aware of.

More info to come tomorrow, I really need to sleep now.

How do bots use the ladders then, just like normal paths?

Well, ATM they can go up ladders just fine, but if you've ever watched them on beach, they usually just jump down them - which usually is just fine (most humans do that too), but I should find a way to have them safely go down the long ladders (like on assault for example).

While you guys are waypointing, I'm going to be working on a lot of different AI issues for the upcoming release - if I have time, thats one of the things I'll address (but its a low priority for the moment).
