Well, I think I see a slight majority for KWo. We've all read his post, but despite the fact that in september he might have less time on his hands for moderating BU, I think he would be a good moderator. Heck, I don't have the slightest idea where I'll be in september! I'm just about to finish my studies, and afterwards I could be working in Nicaragua or whatever... In my current situation, september is science-fiction! If we run into problems, we can still get another moderator...

But first of all, we need one NOW, asap. That's why I'd like to come to an end and suggest we give the job to KWo, if nobody has any serious objections.

We others can help him out by directing his attention to (f)lamers and threads that had better be moved. Besides, we can contribute updates and new material for sticky threads (according to Huntakillaz' idea, which I consider to be a good one).

Thanks to all people voting for me here. I'm agree with T Wrecks - there is only a little difference in votes between us, so now we can let vote by Council Members at Agora. I suggest start two threads-polls at Agora forum - the first - "Do You want T Wrecks as a new moderator at Podbot2.6mm forum? (yes,no)" - the second - "Do You want KWo as a new moderator at Podbot2.6mm forum? (yes,no)". If they'll decide by majority in votes for both us - this forum will have two new moderators - why not? If they'll decide vote "yes" only for one of us (majority only for one) - then at this forum will be only one new moderator. If they' will vote also for me - personally for me is better the situation with 2 new moderators - at the begining of august I'll be unavaiable 2 weeks (holiday) and at that time I'll need also additional help (if they will really vote for me).
But - T Wrecks - I need Your acceptance - maybe You don't want to be also a moderator here - can I start the thread at AGORA with voting for You or no?

I stick to what I said: I'm going to do the job if ppl want me. So go ahead and open the thread(s) please.

Why I put the 's' in brackets? Well, because I think that one thread will be sufficient. You could offer 3 choices:
1. Only KWo
2. Only T Wrecks
3. Both of them

Oh, and I will also be away in the week before the 1st sunday in August... 5 days of Heavy Metal, BBQ, camping & beer are waiting for me... /starts drooling...

[EDIT] Just saw Huntakillaz' post... that's a good point. Maybe the poll should be like this: "Do you agree that KWo and T Wrecks become new moderators in the PB 2.6mm forum?"
1. Yes
2. No, take only KWo
3. No, take only T Wrecks
4. No, take somebody else (suggestions in post).

I'm not sure if we'd need '4.' at all. Post as you want - I'm off to bed now, gotta work tomorrow... CU!

no no..
1 thread with 2 options needed...
the question is "Who do you want to be a pb2.6mm forums moderator?"
1. T Wrecks
2. KWo
Let people choose more than one..
and not checking one of them means you don't vote for them..
that way it's like asking both of those questions in 1 thread with only 2 choices..

OK - I'll do this like T Wrecks said. It's much more clear for voting. I'm not sure if it's possible to do in sPlOrYgOn's way - 2 options and possible 2 choice for one voter. I don't have so much experiences in votes and polls here.

no...
if a person does not check a person it means they don't want that person to be a moderator..
but all you really need is for the majority of the council members to check that person's name to have that person be a moderator..
so each person needs at least 3 checks from the council members to be a moderator..
if a council member votes for only 1 then it means he does not want the other to be a moderator.
if a council member does not want either then he can leave a comment saying that.
