Default Version 5.50.13 (SOURCE CODE) - 21-06-2004

Here's the source as at Version 5.50.13.

I'll get around to updating the website with the news and d/l link, but for those who read the forums, here's the link

http://meanmod.bots-united.com/mean/...ds/meansrc.zip

Let me know asap if there's any problems with the source release archive. Thanks.

Very nice!

Adding support for new bots:
So far I've been going through MA_bot.cpp and MA_bot.h adding support for new bots/combos. What other files are of most importance while adding support for a new bot?

czero's dll should work since it's mp.dll, but is there any folder references to the location of that dll?
czero/dlls/mp.dll
cstrike/dlls/mp.dll
I havn't been able to locate any info of that sort in the code thus far...

Wish me luck!

The CVS is up, Rob

User "botmeister" with your password is the owner and has read/write access

User "mean-cvs" with no password has read/write access and is mapped to user botmeister. This is the username people wanting to work on the mEAn source code should use (except botmeister who can keep his username)

Any other user (anonymous) has read access too, but cannot commit changes

Thnaks PMB, you work so fast, or is it that you managed to rid yourself of the need to sleep, or maybe there's two or three of you identical twins?

A word of caution, the "combo's" of allowing two bots to co-exist has its problems as some bots get messed up thinking each other are their own. This is where some standards are needed to allow different bots to co-exists in harmony.

Look in MB_InterfaceL1.h all the references to folders are in there.

Are you refering to bots being mixable only if they have unique server commands? I'm trying to add support for CSBot (czero) which is embedded in the czero mp.dll. Do you forsee any major problems with doing this?

There should be no problem adding support for csbot.

What I was refering to, is when two or more bots are mixed together. You mentioned "bot combos" and I was thinking about the support I added for mixing Joebot with PLBot, etc. The experiment did not work because each bot system thought the bots in game were theirs and tried to control them. It was a mess.
