Yes Whistler is right ! Buy CS 1.6 and you will aways have the latest updates from Steam.

i bought Hl & Cs a few years ago.......why shouldn't work EPD on "older" versions?
By the way: When i install EPD and look through the liblist.gam
in "Version" is "1.5" written..... <- normal?

Edit: I have downloaded EPD_v4a. With that version the map will be laoded, but as soon as the loading is completed, cs crashes and i get thrown back to the Desktop.


P.s: Always the newsest versions via steam? with my 56k modem?8o

EPB work with both CS 1.5 and CS 1.6. We mean that you may run oldest build of CS 1.6 and thats maybe is the reason for crashing. Btw it is not EPD, it is EPB (E[POD]bot). Do you got the idea. And change your ISP.
