Default Steam with CS 1.6 listenserver - 28-02-2004

Hi guys

Is it possible to run a CS 1.6 listenserver with Steam, with bots, and that other people can find your server in the Server-window of Steam?

My situation:
- P4 1.3 Ghz
- 386 Mb RAM
- Cable internet
= download 1500
= upload 386
- router

I had (still have) a CS 1.5 listenserver with AMX, StatsMe, JoeBots, PsychoStats and a lot of other (AMX) modules and plugins (20 player server).

I also have a CS 1.6 dedicated server with AMX, IvPBots but that gives me an awfull lot of lag even if I restrict that to a 7 players server. (Because I also have the CS-client running on that same machine, I guess).

TIA

P.S.
Used to run around with PodBots, but then I found JoeBots.
Now we you guys improving/innovating the bots, I also had the PoDBot for Metamod running around on my dedicated server. They also lag a lot.

It's completely normal to have a lot of lag if you're running both the dedicated server and a gaming client on the same machine ; imagine: you're running 2 HL engines at the same time, plus all the display & rendering stuff, PLUS bots ! Not quite easy for a 1.3 GHz machine...

I don't know about the other people able to see your listen server in the server browser window of Steam.
