Default Spherecal Spheres! - 20-05-2004

Ok... so I am making one of meh uber maps, and I need to make a sphere. Short and simple. Anyone know where I can find a tutorial to make a sphere? I could use prefabs, but can you alter prefabs with the vertext manipulator?! I dunno meh iz ///crazy! > :'(

I suggest you avoid making spheres with brushes. When doing complex shapes like spheres then modelling is preffered.

Try to avoid using it prefabs, it prevents your map from looking original and make it look like a beginners work.

Everything can be altered using the vertex tool.

What do you need a sphere for? If you want, I could model one for ya.

Spheres are done with 12 sided cylinders, piled on top of each other & vertex manipulated into shape ... or something.
That's all I can tell ya.
