Warning Always 9 bots not 10... - 05-02-2008

Hi,
i dont have lots of experience with podbot setups. So whats happening now is that only 9 bots are joining whatever i do still 9 bots joins everytime. Basicly im looking to have 3 bots for everytime a human joins, but the max bots i need is 10 since we have a 20 slots server. And the bots needs to be only on CT side. Here my podbot.cfg. I really need some help and im not that good at understanding manuals even if i read them over and over. I tryied...

I don't understand exactly what You want...
pb_bot_join_team "CT"
that basically should add always a bot to CT team only. Does it work or not?
pb_minbots 3
That one will keep always at least 3 bots on the server, even if no human joined. If the server is empty and You want to have no bots on the server in that time, You should have that value as 0.
pb_maxbots 10
That one says how many max (bots + humans) might be there on the server. So if You are a host on the listenserver - it always calculates You as 1 - so the rest remaining to 10 is 9...
pb_bot_quota_match 3
That always adds 3 bots for one human joined (and kicks 3 bots if the human left the server).
Try to remove all comment lines from Your post - otherwise it's hard to focus on Your settings...

Those are my current settings right now.


After trying those, 9 bots join the server on restart and the 10th one is not showing up.


You asked what i want, well i just want the right settings for 10 bots at all times on CT side for a practice server. Humans on T and Bots on CT. What must i do ?

Also is there any other file that could control the bot count on the server other than any files in the podbot folder ?

Just put pb_minbots 10 and pb_maxbots 10 if there must be 10 bots all the time...

could u tell me where i could find that cfg i think i need to edit it too =X i get some error saying
"Max Bots reached, can't create Bot" + ML_notfound (LANG) =( if someone could explain this to me would be a help thx .

It says You got the limit with adding bots by reaching pb_maxbots setting (which really means the limit for bots+humans).
"ML_notfound (LANG)..." it's an error from AMX X. It looks like You are using some AMX X plugin, which misses (at least partially) the translation for Your language.
The language files (usually plugin_name.txt) for AMX X needs to be placed in the folder ..\cstrike\addons\amxmodx\data\lang
podbot.cfg with settings like pb_minbots, pb_maxbots etc is placed in the folder ...\cstrike\addons\podbot
In both cases if You are using CZERO - instead "cstrike" You need to look for the folder "czero".

Thx For Replying.. Yeah My Friends Have Already Explained It To Me But I Got Them To Come Over And Do It.. haha still not working.. conclusion was to reinstall it cause i went to a LAN and did it and it worked perfectly >.<''
