Admin change map bots no join :(

Default Admin change map bots no join :( - 04-03-2007

Okay the bots work pretty dang good besides on minor thing..... when an admin changes the map with either a vote map command or them just change the map with the amxx menu the bots dont go the next map they are gone and we have to manually add the bots on the map... The odd thing is when the map changes on the cycle or end map vote the bots come to the next map we are using the latest version of podbot mm version 3. Just wondering if there is a special command or something that will fix this problem thank you.

In the podbot.cfg, there probably isn't any pb add commands.

Check Your podbot.cfg if You didn't write there pb_maxbots 0. This setting with this value swtihes off auto-add/kick bot function. Maybe just post Your podbot.cfg
Another thing - never tell the latest version because sometimes it changes few times in a week - so it's better to wrte the exact number for me. You can see it when You write in the console:
meta list
It will also show me some other plugins You have there (and their version).

I want to have the four bots on all the time during normal play but i wanna be able to kick them when I want... see when the map changes with amx end map vote they stay when nobody is on and it does its cycle they stay... BUT when an admin changes a map they are gone ....

As I was expected - they are gone because of these settings.

pb_minbots 0
pb_maxbots 0

For this what You want I would suggest rather to put:
pb_minbots 4
pb_maxbots 4
So it - will keep all the time 4 bots there. When You will need to kick some bot - You just need to change both these settings to 3:
pb_minbots 3
pb_maxbots 3
After that the bot will be automatically kicked (You even don't need to wrtite kick command).
The same if You will need to add the bot back - change back the settings to 4 and the bot wlll be added there without pb add command

So when I'm on the game I havta go off and change that setting restart my server and then it will kick b/c i use the pod-bot menu with amxx on it to kick bots... but i cant kick em b/c of the minbots being 4. i have to have four humans on to take the place of them so they are kicked

No - You can change these cvars during the game. Just try and go back here to report if it works for You.

Okay I'm using your amx_podbotmenu and I'm wondering how would I add another button on there that would change the maxbot to 0 and minbots to 0? I'm new to all this stuff and if you could that would be great for the code so i can add to sma and then compile it

You would like I add the change to amxx_podbotmenu.sma? Maybe, but not before the next weekend. If You have the rcon access to Your server - You just need to change the cvars seetings by typing:
rcon pb_minbots 3
rcon pb_maxbots 3
it should work. Try that and let me know if You got troubes with it or not.

I've already had some trouble... i had 3 people on and 4 bots. I changed the map and only one bot showed up and i couldnt add anymore.... help i have it set pb_minbots 4 pb_maxbots5
