Default Lan Server Crashes - 18-05-2006

I've read through all the installation instructions, tried them all, and I still can't get a local server to run. CS simply crashes. I've gotten the older version to work, but this is a fresh installation. There must be something I'm overlooking; anyone have any ideas?

Which older version? Usually when I get these types of problems, It's because I need to reinstall something

I used version 5b of E[pod]bot before, with the same version of counter-strike. It's a fresh install of counter-strike; should I go ahead and reinstall?

Try with the latest version of E[POD]bot - 5.2. And tell me what version of CS you are running.

I took your advice and reinstalled Counter-Strike (v1.6), then reinstalled EPODbot 5.2. Works like a charm now.
