Default Console feedback during pvi load - 10-03-2005

This is a tiny detail, but easy to implement. Here's the story:

One of my friends asked me about that PVI loading stuff. He saw those console messages where it says somthing like:

Quote:
pvi out of date, rebuilding... 4%
pvi out of date, rebuilding... 9%
pvi out of date, rebuilding... 13%
pvi out of date, rebuilding... 18%
pvi out of date, rebuilding... 22%
pvi out of date, rebuilding... 26%
and so forth.

Depending on how big the steps are, the last entry will be 92%, 94%, 95% etc. Now my friend was wondering if the pvi had been rebuilt comnpletely when it never seemed to reach 100%. So I figured it might be a good idea to add a final line:
Quote:
pvi out of date, rebuilding... complete.

that is a good idea, cause the message is sent every secodnd, thus if the 100% is not in the specified monet you never get 100% printed

but only printed, it gets calculated properly

also would be nice to show some info to any clients in multiplayer game , in example in print_chat area

I don't doubt that it's calculated correctly and completely. But for people who are not so familiar with all this stuff, doubts may arise from this lack of a completion notice.

Btw, thanks for resurrecting this thread! You really dig deep into this forum, don't you?

You have to know - last time my Polish colleague is trying to follow and resurrect a lot of topics not only at this forum. Topics he haven't had time to follow before because of study and lack of time.

No need to apologize; it's good that some things aren't forgotten.

Yes, that would indeed be helpful. Tho I dont actually tend to put them on my server without building 45 mins of pxp and putting in the pvi file too, it would be handy to know when its actually complete.
