Default waypoint debugging - 07-05-2008

Is it possible to show more information when bot say "waypoint problem. No path found". I get this problem, but can't fix it because it is not clear for me where it happen.

Just switch Waypoint Editor to on (only on listenserver) and try to save Your waypoints - You will be teleported to the place where the problem really exists. That will help You to fix it.

Waypoint Editor teleports me only if my map have some waypoints without connections. But all waypoints in my map have connections, so Waypoint editor don't teleport me. Everything seems Ok but I get message "waypoint problem. No path found" when add some bots. And I don't understand what waypoint I need to fix.

You should have to try the option "Check" from the WP editor menu. It clearly says that You didn't put any goal waypoint.
That might be confusing what should be a goal for aim_xxx, awp_xxx and fy_xxx maps. I'm recommending on such maps to put some goal WPs in the places You want the bots should meet on the map. The pathfinding needs those goals WP (even if You cannot see any sense to use them on such maps).

yes, I did't think that maps like fy_ and aim_ need goal waypoints.
Thank you.
