Default Stop bots from jumping? - 11-08-2004

I just installed the latest Metamod JoeBot on our STEAM HLDS server, and it's working very well so far. Good job guys!

I would love a way to set how often the bots jump, and in particular be able to tell the bots to stop jumping altogether.

Why? We run a low gravity server, and in 90 gravity, jumping = death. Unless you have a shotgun, you lose most of your ability to aim, plus you become a nearly irresistable target.

While flying bots can be super fun to kill, when we want a challenge, we need them on the ground.

P.S. I have already programmed a preliminary admin_mod plugin for controlling the newest JoeBot. Once it has proven stable on my server, I'll post it in these forums.

Hi,

i guess you use a ping booster, allthough nowhere written
i have learned, that you should disable it.
it does not increase real gameplay, it only makes the ping look nicer

???

I don't see how it would affect jump frequency, but for the record I don't use any kind of ping booster.
