Default Joebots making amxmod to stop running - 02-05-2004

Everytime i join my server, amxmod is not running. I have to rcon restart to make it run again.

Disabling joebots fixes the problem....you guys any have any idea on how to fix it?

I'm running metamod 1.17, amx 0.9.7, counter strkie 1.5 won ver 1.1.1.0 and statsme.

Why do you think AMX is not running? Have you tried "rcon meta list" and "rcon amx list"?

There is a bug when you use AMX and any bot at the same time. After some connects and disconnects AMX gets confused about who is playing at the server and players joining the game aren't recognized anymore. This usualy get's temporarily fixed after a mapchange or a restart - till some connects and disconnects...

I know its not running when: 1st welcome message is not showing,, saying admin priv. accepted, 2nd after i connected and in the game, i can't do any amx command even client side.

And you're right thats exactly whats happening.....it goes back when map changes. I have my mp_timelimit to 30, so i have to wait 30 mins for amx to start again.......thats why I want to find a fix for it.

Only time amx will keep running and not turn off is if i turn joebot off in the plugin.ini file.

this is normal, and has been this way for quite some time, and not only with joebot.
the first map i play, i don't see amx infos nor can i issue amx commands, this is, like terran said due to the fact that amx did not recognise me because it is confused by bots entering and leaving. for other players amx does work, and after a reconnect or a mapchange for me too.

I beleive it is too.....I just need to try everywhere to find a fix.
There's even a link here for amx plugin to control joebot, but it's only to control them.

Since amx is not active anymore maybe joebot coders can fix it?

Have a look at www.amxmodx.org, they continue the development of AMX but haven't fixed that bug so far.

too bad the comparison chart compares nothing..
but the next amx update after 0.9.9 will probably have this problem fixed..
