Default Linux Compilations - 07-01-2006

I've been using VMWare for a long time now to run linux from windows and do my bot linux compiles and try out various distros and such. Stumbled on a link recently where apparently there is a free VMWare player that will allow you to run pre-built VM's.

Free being the keyword, I thought maybe others might benefit too, so here's the link.

Bochs or Qemu are actually fully functional, and they are free software.

However it still gets the best result by using a real GNU/Linux system

Sure, but for those of us(like me) who have no desire to duel boot, vmware and such are perfect.
