Strange, I just tested aim_map and they fire like hell, even when they're on the levelled area at the back of the map.
Post your podbot.cfg here so we can see how your settings might be wrong.

Please also write the output from the screen (this what You can see - just copy and paste it here) after You are typing the command in the server's console:

Now it works...I changed the command: bot_turn_method 2 to bot_turn_method 1.

And now they are very quick.

Hmm, i do it in the game, in the console.

And i have download the Podbot mm Full Pack V3B18c and then the "Patch"V3 Build 19d.

Ah yes now i know it. I have the plugin "BotAim" too.

[ 1] POD-Bot mm RUN - podbot_mm.dll v3.0B19d ini Chlvl ANY
[ 2] HeadShot RUN - headshot_mm.dll v0.3 ini Pause Pause

Now everything is clear - You should remove the plugin botaim, because podbot mm has it included in his source code. So when it's tryed to calculate 2 times the same for the crosshair position, it does weird things. I suggest to disable it in metamod's plugins.ini and try once more default settings with V3B19d.

Please let me know if after removing botaim plugin and with default settings in podbot.cfg, V3B19d version bots are really hard for You or You still had to do something with them.
