Foxbot on Linux Server

Ok so after wasting about 95% of my day at work TRYIN to figure out how to install/put foxbot on my gaming server, with no luck I have decided to come here.

Basically this question is for anyone (hopefully sosmoene here who has a linux server w/ tfc 1.6 and is running foxbot now) who knows about linux and foxbots.

I would really appreciate some help with this. I am afraid to start putting random so files on my server (it is a remote server by the way ie. not my own pc) for fear of it crashing, etc as I have seen in so many forums. If someone could please IM me @ lanep82, email me @ lpearson@mail.utexas.edu, pm me, or write back here, i would be greatly obliged. I also run a vent server so maybe we could chat on there to get the process moving quicker

Basically I have read every damn post on the foxbot forums and am more confused than when I even started. IS it possible to have foxbot(s) running SMOOTHLY on a linux server w/out the thing crashing? Any help would be appreciated......but please please don't give me a link to the foxbot forums, i have read every damn thing in there.....THanks
