Hi INsane

I was pretty enthusiastic about getting bots working with beta 3.1 as that is my favourite version of the game by far. Heres what I did.

1. Install original half life 1 from CD or image
2. Download and install hl1110.exe
3. Download and install dod_v31.exe
4. Go here for a working widescreen and FOV fix http://www.widescreengamingforum.com...p?f=32&t=16206 (worked for me at 1440x900)
5. Download and install Sturmbot 1.5

And voila, classic dod with bots and widescreen! Now all I have to do is go through the same rigmaroll on my friends machines to get a decent LAN going.

Shrikebot and Sturmbot are great dod bots thuugh I find sturmbot 1.7 a little bit bette especially if you make them sprint a lot hehe.

Both support metamod but you can't run them at the same since they both uses the same hpb_bot commands.
Wish Shrikebot would update his bot and change all the commands
so we can have a shrikebot VS sturmbot battle hehe.

Once I did a bocbot vs sturmbot at dod_caen bots match using botmixer 5000 and sturmbot always wins.
