Idea how hard would it be to make a mod for hl2 - 14-06-2006

based on a map on warcraft3
fps mode of a strat game

doesnt need many maps (5 at most?) ie multiplayer maps not hl2 story maps
most things seem to be do able on hl2 that are on this map.

do need a ban system from mod for competive sake
and the ability to have the same group players play the game entirely
(ie ppl cant jump in ie in css, dod, tfc etc and ppl cant leave till game over hence banning system)

i do not want to disclose this idea as yet.

i really have no idea about mods at the moment perhaps if somone can point me to a place that offers better help.

well, the ban system is built in to the source engine, and if someone wants to leave the game, you won't stop them - you would probably be breaking some law if you tried.
