Default botnames.txt - 10-07-2004

Can you help?
I've changed some names in the botnames.txt but the server is not reading the botnames.txt because the new names are missing
Also some missing names from the botnames.txt file are apearing on the server.
Is there a way to find out what file/files the server is looking at?

location of botnames.txt E:\Games\SteamServer_v1120\cstrike\addons\Podbot
Shortcut to start server:-
E:\Games\SteamServer_v1120\hlds.exe -game cstrike +ip 192.168.7.2 -port 27015 +mapchangecfgfile "server.cfg" +maxplayers 12 +map de_dust2

dir of Podbot 2.6
E:\Games\SteamServer_v1120\cstrike\addons\Podbot

metamod plugins.ini
win32 addons/amx/dlls/amx_mm.dll
Win32 addons/adminmod/dlls/admin_MM.dll
win32 addons/podbot/podbot_mm.dll

server.cfg
exec addons/adminmod/config/adminmod.cfg

[ 1] AMX RUN - amx_mm.dll v0.9.7 ini ANY ANY
[ 2] Adminmod RUN - admin_mm.dll v2.50.59 ini Start Start
[ 3] POD-Bot 2.6mm RUN - podbot_mm.dll vR2b25 ini Chlvl ANY
[ 4] CS STATS RUN - csstats_mm.dll v0.9.7 ( cmd ANY ANY

are you absolutely sure those names are not in botnames.txt?
did you make sure you didn't just save it to some backup such as botnames.txt~ ?
if you really did restart I really don't see how it can come up with names that aren't in the botnames.txt unless the name is "unnamed"..
oh yea... directories are case sensitive..
you'll need to make everything lowercased...
at least the podbot directory..

Hi guys,
Found the problem:- User error as usual!
I renamed every botnames.txt file down from the server path except the one too podbot 2.6.
Prog crashed on starting!
Looked for any file date and time matching crash.
Found ivperror.txt containing
"IvPBot couldn't find botnames.txt" oops.
Found in metamod config.ini "gamedll ivpbot/ivpbot.dll"
left over from my last setup of ivPodbot.

What puzzles me is why the ivPodBot was not listed in:
Meta List command output yet podbot 2.6 was.

Can you have two bots running at the same time and have humans playing?

Thanks,
Hunt.
