Default Help needed :( - 04-08-2006

Hi there

I've just rented a 14 slot ET server and would like some info on installing fritzbot.
Do i have to upload all the contents of the fritzbot folder to my server? if so to what folder?
I;ve created and uploaded the .bat file to the correct folder, i'm just stumped to wether i upload the rest.
I've read the readme on this site but it don't say i have to upload all the folder contents.
Cheers for any help.

For Fritzbot to work on your server it has to be running Windows. Do you know what the operating system is?

You need a Fritzbot folder on your server with all of the contents in it. Then set up the campaign.cfg and maps you want in ET Main. Then set up a server.cfg so when the server starts it executes the Fritz mod and it should work. (of course it is a bit more complex than that, but this is the basics)

k, you gotta either remove or disable etpro on your server. Fritzbot runs on ET Main only. The Fritz folder goes goes into the Wolfenstein folder along with the etmain folder and pb folder.

For Fritz to start up when you restart your server you gotta have a .cfg for Fritz that tells the server what to load up when it starts.

If you'd rather continue this coversation in private my email is vlvttch@cableone.net, xfire is vlvttch and msn is vlvttch@cableone.net

you can run it with whaleclient

just dowload whaleclient and copy it to the fritzbot folder you will have to overwrite 2 fritzbot files but it'll work fine
